Stress and wrinkles and facial acupuncture

Everyone experiences stress at some point of their life. What is stress? Stress is the body's reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response. The body reacts to these changes with physical, mental, and emotional responses. When under stressed, the body thinks it is under attack and releasing a complex mix of hormones and chemicals such as noradrenaline and cortisol to prepare the body for physical and mental action. In the face, the expression muscles are contracting, as a result it pulls the skin and folds it creating wrinkles. If the stress is prolonged, the blood vessels are contracting reducing blood circulation on the face making the skin dry and collagen production is reduced and existing collagen is damaged which contributing to creating wrinkles.

Facial acupuncture can help relieve stress, relax facial muscles and promote collagen production to reduce the wrinkles.
