Stress and sleep, acupuncture can help reduce stress and get better sleep.

Everyone has some experiences not sleep well sometimes. This should not last long before getting good sleep back. If you always not sleep well, this is becoming a condition called insomnia that could affect your life. Insomnia is when you find it difficult to get to sleep, or to stay asleep for long enough to feel refreshed the next morning. Insomnia is typically followed by daytime sleepiness, low energy, irritability, a depressed mood and difficulty to concentrate.

In psychology, stress is a feeling of strain and pressure. Small amount of stress may be helpful to have motivation, adaptation and quick reaction to any changes in the life events. Excessive stress can cause harm to the body. Stress can cause insomnia. In the state of stress, the body releases stress hormones –chemicals such as glucocorticoids to help the body to cope with the situation. Glucocorticoids can disrupt sleep and make sleep difficult.
