Having jaw pain and jaw tightness? acupuncture can help.

Many people experience jaw pain from time to time. Stressed jaw joints are one of the reasons. The symptoms can include jaw pain and jaw muscle tightness, this can be mild or intense aching, throbbing or tender. Chewing or yawning can worsen the symptoms. Tension or tenderness can be felt on one or both sides of the face and this pain and tension can also affect the nose, mouth, and ears. The neck muscles connect to the lower jaw, so pain and tension can radiate down to the neck and shoulder and up to the head causing headaches. Jaw movement can be limited. Toothaches and earache can also be accompanied with the jaw pain and tension. Stress is one of the causes including emotional and physical stress. Jaw can be clenched and tightened when experiencing stress, anxiety or anger. Grinding teeth at sleep can also cause jaw pain and tension. Poor posture, neck pain and headaches can also lead to jaw pain and tension. Acupuncture is an effective way to release jaw pain and jaw tension.
