Rib pain and muscle cramps around the rib cage
Rib cage pain can happen. The pain can be sharp, dull or achy. It can be caused by heart and lung conditions, fracture of ribs and other bone conditions. If you have rib cage pain, you need to see doctor to find out the underlying causes. Rib cage fascia inflammation and muscle spasm are a common cause of rib cage pain.

Intercostal muscles are the muscles between ribs. They move rib cage and play an important role in breathing.
